When your baby just begins to start on solids, around 6 months old, you have to choose the bib. The cloth bib is suitable for the next two months as the baby has not yet started sitting down while being fed.

Around 8th month your baby starts sitting down and it is best to have a bib that can catch food that slides down the bib and onto your bed or carpet depending on where you feed your baby.
