I read this book 5years ago just as I began my journey in the corporate workplace. Back then I wanted to write about this book at least share to my immediate connections how relatable this book was as it spoke of so many different corporate life challenges Sheryl Sandberg faced or recognized along her path.

The book would bring in a fresh perspective on the challenges for women at work – already known yet topics that are not spoken out loudly. I feel the book is an excellent read for both men and women.

For young working women professional, it could help navigate her professional blockers and to know she is not alone in any thought that crosses her mind.

For the women at the top, it shows how impactful their decisions could be as they represent standing tall on the shoulders of those before her to carve a better path for those after her.

For men, this could be enlightening to know how they can be allyโ€™s by being sensitized to the many scenarios from her corporate life.ย

What Would You Do If You Werenโ€™t Afraid?
